WATER WISE™
RESPECT THE RIP.
— WATCH A MOTHER'S VOICE —
My son Elyjha didn't know what a rip current was.
"Both of them just didn't know the risk."
Elyjha’s mother is using her voice to save lives.

WATER WISE™ is saving lives
Rising Tide Effect exists to free people from fear and open the door to joy — using water as the medium.
Water Wise™ is one of the ways we do it. Our public safety education campaign brings lifesaving knowledge into underserved communities across New York City, one person at a time.
95% of drownings are preventable. Most people were just never taught the risks. That's what we're here to change — making streetwise New Yorkers water wise.
